Hi, I'm Sam.

My love for photography begins with memories of admiring the photos of my grandfather playing guitar in a band hanging in their living room and digging through the old trunk the held hundreds of printed memories, over and over again.

Fast-forward through it being a high school hobby and a few college courses on the fundamentals later; now a way to preserve memories for clients and my own family, still reflects that nostalgic film feel found at my grandparents house.

I'm a wife, homeschooling mama to three beautiful children and incase you missed it, photographer. Our family's free time is usually spent on our little homestead gardening, milking something, exploring or creating something together. We don't get bored.

My love for the outdoors translates into my photography with a style that feels earthy and nostalgic by playing with natural light. In my eyes, we're creating a timeless piece of art that tells your story. 

​When we work together, my goal is to make you comfortable and confident in front of the camera. It's important to me that you have fun and enjoy your time while we shoot. Most of my clients end up saying that it didn't feel like a stuffy session, but that we were just hanging out.
